You can either have the plumber do this all at once, which means you need to leave the house during the repiping process as you will not be able to use any of the plumbing, or you can have it done in sections. Typically, this is going to take a few weeks to do in sections, or it might take less than a week if everything is done at once. Either way, it is not a short fix.
