Good Service

The S&D Plumbing tech.(William) did a good job and he it quickly. He would update me on cost changes before proceeding. I would recommend S&D Plumbing and William to friends.

quick service

Great service. The tech was outstanding but price of service almost "knocked me down" at first.

I was able to get price reduced after calling the office and inquiring about the charges. I was just trying to figure out why it would cost $410 to replace a shower faucet cartridge.

Great service

Prompt service for a good price

extremely expensive

I do not think a worker in a job site needs to stay chatting on the phone for as long as the young man did. The way I see I payed almost $300 to see someone talk on the telephone. I can rate the quality of service , because I am still debating if it was you or us who fixed the problem.

fair service, poor prices.

Didn't follow, expensive but got job done.

Great Service a little pricey

Yes these guys are expensive but how much would you pay for a piece of mind. I had these guy redo all of my plumbing (water & sewer) and yes it was alot of money. However, the house is old and the pipe were never updated including the pipes to the street. I have been waiting for the last few years for the pipes to bust and I am fortunate they never did. I even had the city tell me that I was on borrowed time. I now don't have to worry and the water pressure is so much better. These guys were great they did a great job and tried to accomidate me to make life easier. They are the only ones I will ever have work on my house.

Great service, on time and very professional

I had called S&D and had them come out to fix the problem. Warren came out and was on time and very courteous and professional. He discovered I had a sewage back-up, cleared out the line and was very helpful on explaining it. If I ever have plumbling needs or remodeling I definately will give them a call. Excellent service! You guys are awesome!

It Doesn't Get Better Than S&D Plumbing

I recently purchased a 1930's home that has required updating and repairs to all the plumbing lines. I have called S&D Plumbing three times and each time the service guy has arrived right on time with a big friendly smile. Each guy has taken the time to answer all my questions, explain the job, and give me an estimate before the work begins. S&D guys are knowledgeable, work quickly, clean up after themselves, and are overall super nice guys. Call them for all your plumbing needs...you won't be disappointed.

My Experience with S&D Plumbing

To whom it may concern, This complaint is in reference to a recent issue I had with S&D Plumbing in Taylor Texas. On October 31st I called S&D because I had a leak in the tub in my Master Bathroom. The lady that answered the phone was nice and said she could have someone out that day between 2 and 6 or she could have someone come out on November 1 between 2 and 6. Because the 31st was Halloween I told her to have them come out on the 1st between 2 and 6. About 5:15 I had to go get my daughter from her afterschool program. My wife and mother in law were here and said they never heard a knock or a door bell ring. I came home about 5:25 to find a business card on my door from S&D plumbing. I immediately called and spoke to Rhonda who said she would try and turn him around. I waited for 30 minutes and did not see anyone so I called again and Rhonda said he was on his way. The plumber finally shows up AFTER 6PM. He assesses the issue and goes to his truck to check for a part. He comes in and says he in deed had the part and starts the repair. My wife and I had somewhere to be so my mother in law stayed behind so he could finish up. My wife asked him if he would be able to finish and he said it will be finished before I leave. My wife and I left and came home to find that the part he had was actually not the right part. He stated to my mother in law that it was a 16th of an inch to short and he would have to order the part and would be back on Monday 11-4. I called on the morning of 11-4 at around 8:40 am to inquire when we should expect him to show up and the lady on the phone says he is not in today. I asked how we would get this fixed if he was not in and she said she would have talk to her project manager and she would get back with me shortly. I did not hear back from her so I called back at approximately noon and ask her for an update and if we will be charged for a second visit since the issue was not fixed on Friday. She said she would have to speak to her project manager. She put me on hold and came back and said yes we would. I told her that is not acceptable because they should have been able to fix it Friday when the first plumber came out. She said they were waiting on the part that had to be ordered. I asked her how much the part was. She put me on hold and then I am guessing the project manager came on and said the part was 90.00 and we would owe them a total of 387.43 for the 2 visits, the part and tax on the part. I told him I did not think it was fair that I should have to pay for them to come back out because they did not have the correct parts. He said they cannot carry all parts for all products on their trucks. That is not my problem. I should not have to pay twice for something because they cannot carry parts. I continue to discuss the issue and the PM begins to refuse my repair. He stated he had enough of my attitude and they had been in business a long time and wanted their customers to be happy. I told him I needed this fixed and he said maybe you should just call someone else since we cannot make you happy. I told him they already had the part so they need to come out and fix it and I would just have to pay their ridiculous rates. I still do not think it is fair to have to pay for 2 separate service visits @ 145.00 per visit. He said they wanted their customers to be happy. If that is the case he should have said Mr. Johnson you are correct. We did not fix the issue and we will not be charging for a second visit. This is how you keep customers happy. Not charging them 290.00 to have someone come out twice for a job to be completed. I would like them to refund the 145.00 they charged for the 2nd visit to do a job that should have been done the first time. I would also like to have them not try to refuse me service because they determine they do not like my attitude. I never raised my voice or yelled at them all I tried to do is explain the situation and tell them how I felt. I thought in the business world the customer was always right.

five star service

repairman was courteous, efficient and informative regarding my problem.

Good and quick!

A leaking copper joint behind a shower wall was quickly accessed and repaired - even creating a new access opening to the shower controls.

Great Service

Warren did a great job in completing the job, called before arriving, arrived on time, was very cordial, and got the job done.
